Everyone is a human being. Everyone deserves dignity, respect and compassion.
This week our CEO, Ronnie Tagwireyi, was interviewed by Glasgow Live.
“Everyone is a human being and you should treat your neighbour as you would like yourself to be treated.” — Ronnie, CEO of Refugee Sanctuary Scotland.
These words reflect the values at the heart of our work. Everyone deserves to feel safe, welcome and valued, regardless of where they come from. Refugees and people seeking sanctuary are our neighbours, our friends and part of our communities.
At a time when fear and division can take hold, we must choose compassion, understanding and solidarity. Together, we can help build a Scotland where everyone has the chance to live in safety and with dignity.
